Born in Osaka. Graduated from the Nihon University College of Art. Became independent in 1977. Awarded a prize at the Toki City Exhibition. Makes a wide range of tableware. Oribe, Shino, ash glaze, and Kohiki are his main works. His designs show a remarkable talent.
