Graduated from Kyoto Sangyo University. Studied pottery in Mashiko in 1972. Built a kiln in Iga-cho in 1981. Awarded the Mayor’s Prize at the Municipal Exhibition. Awarded at the Shinshou Kogei (New Craft Exhibition) and Traditional Craft Sokkami Branch Exhibition, among others. Solo exhibition at Izumi Gallery, Osaka.
