Araki Yoshitaka 荒木義隆

Studied under Kawashima Kozo in Gojozaka, Kyoto. He became independent in Yamashina in 1966. Later, he participated in the establishment of the Sumiyama Craft Village, moved his studio to Uji, built a climbing kiln in Kasatori in 1974, and named it Shihan Kiln. Solo exhibitions have been held at Keio Shinjuku and Tachi-kichi, Ginza and others.
