Kutani potter, also known as Eitei and Toko, the same pen name as his grandfather and father. After learning the style of his father, Aoya Gen’emon, he was invited by Maeda Nariyasu, the lord of Kaga-Kanazawa, and moved from Komatsu to Kanazawa to work as a potter.
