1982 Selected for the first time at the 11th Kinki Exhibition of the Japan Kogei Association (since then, he has been selected consecutively)
1985 Selected for the first time at the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition (since then, selected four times)
1987 Selected for the first time at the 34th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition (since then, selected 21 times)
1989 Selected for the 10th Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition (since then, selected 7 times)
1990 Awarded the Excellence Prize at the Northern Confectionary Art Exhibition, Japan.
1993 Solo exhibition at Takashimaya Department Store, Osaka (and every other year since then); certified as a regular member of the Japan Kogei Association.
2006 Awarded the Kinki Branch Director Prize at the 35th Kinki Exhibition of the Japan Kogei Association.
2010 Awarded the Japan Kogei Association Prize at the 39th JCI Kinki Exhibition.
2014 Jury member of the 43rd JCI Kinki Exhibition
2015 Awarded the Nikkei Newspaper Prize at the 44th Japan Kogei Association Kinki Exhibition
Fascinated by Chinese Song dynasty pottery, he worked on white, blue and white porcelain and celadon, and built a kiln in a corner of “Yamanobe no Michi”, the oldest road in Japan, where he has been making pottery. Currently a regular member of the Japan Kogei Association
